Pipe Flow Calculations Forum

I want to know in a gas station.

- With a gas line of 1.5" inside diameter made of polyethylene and mesuring around 30meter
- With a submersible pump of 1.5HP
- And three dispenser that give a flow of 38L./minute

Is the flow in the gas line high enough to generate static electricity

Dear all

I faced the same problem at the natural gas pipe line . What is the reason of this matter and how can i over come this problem.
