Hi, I was wondering what the equations were for converting gallons per minute into pounds per square inch. The diameter of the pipe being used is 1" (standard garden hose). These is no elevation change and the pumping distance is negligible (under 2 ft). Any input would be awesome and could save me a bunch of money! Thanks!

There is no direct conversion, but you can calcualte how big pressure on the pipe start should be to have enough flow rate.

For this you should use http://www.pipeflowcalculations.com/pressuredrop/ calculator and select - calculate for flow rate, and enter all other required values.

hi
I want to know how can convert flow water chart to table data. It means calculate water pipe sizing by GPM from tabulated data for loss head and GPM and velocity. also calculate GPM by fixture unit ?
tank you.
