GEO Thermal loops

I just installed a FHP geo thermal unit. It has two loops which are 250 feet deep. A one inch line leaves the unit, drops 45 feet to enter the ground. Goes down 250' up 250' enters second loop down and up, then returns to the unit. All the pipes are one inch pex, in a closed loop. The pump for the unit gets hot and shuts off.
