How to select which calculator

Post by rayjos » Wed Jun 20, 2018 11:58 am

I would like to assure I get the appropriate calculator to use for my application.

I have LPG vapor (mostly propane) that is discharged from a vaporizer at 270F and 570psig and bypassed to a flare line. It flows through different sized piping and fittings and ends in flare line at atmospheric pressure. I know the two end point pressures and would like to know the flow rate and grade line.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you.

I would suggest you to use gas pressure drop calculator.
