Typical values for oil extraction pipelines

Post by Esme »

I'm trying to find some typical values for oil and natural gas extraction. I've found some values - well bore pipes around 1000 - 2000m long and 200 - 300mm in diameter, but any ideas of what sorts of pressures are used for frakking or the recovery flow? what are typical flow rates of the frakking fluid and the recovered gas or oil? Any other typical values I should be thinking about?

Not looking to do any specific calculations, just wanting to get my head around what's happening and at the moment I've no idea of the scales involved. I've done quite a bit of searching online but haven't had much luck. Any suggestions or pointers to this information online much appreciated.
