Power of pump can be calculated as P = Q * (p1 - p2). Pressure drop is due to friction, local resistances and change in elevation between start and end of pipe. What do you mean by pipe taps?
You have corner taps as selection also - if plate is between flanges and taps are on flanges itself.

Flow rate through pipe is established based on the energy (mainly pressure) difference from start to the end of pipe. If you have bigger pressure difference flow rate will be higher. You can use calculator for change in elevation, but you have to enter that like pressure difference - like elevation difference of 10 m with water in pipe is pressure difference of 10 mWS. You can't have two flow rates in one pipe with incompressible fluid like water, so with pump flow dropping from 50 to 40, pipe flow rate will change as well with speed of sound from point a to point b.

Hi Adam, As you can see in calculator flow rate has symbol of - qn and it is for normal conditions (p=101325 Pa, T=0) so density is also at that condition. I can also add option to enter flow at p1 or p2 but I think it is not very convenient way for calculation - I think much more often you will not...
