Re: control valve sizing calculation
The web site http://www.pipeflowcalculations.com at this moment doesn't offer any possibility to download any of the available calculators that you have already used. Also selling is not a option at this moment. Instead off selling calculators, I have decided to offer this service free of any charge...

Re: how to calculate flow-rate and drop pressure on branch pipe.
Step 1. It is similar like in loop, but you have to know (or make an assumption) the pressure (head) on the start of the branch and at the end of the branch and based on pressure (head) change from start to the end of branch you can calculate the flow. Step 2. Now that calculated flow is influencing...

Re: Determining Air flowrate of air pump
Estimated maximum flow rate can be find if you devide motor power with pressure change. Also, energy losses should be taken into account, so flow rate is 10-20% smaller.
But if you don't know pressure, than it is difficult to know.

Re: pressure drop with few knowns
Here is one table that should be of help:
http://www.pipeflowcalculations.com/tables/fluegas.htm
You will find that it is for certain mixture of flue gas, but it should be of help.
Mixture consist of:
carbon dioxide CO2 - 13%
water vapor H2O - 11%
nitrogen N2 - 76%

Re: oxygen @ 50 psi flow rate
The theory of pipe flow basics will soon be available on web site, but until then... Here is the part of it regarding your question (I presume that the oxygen is in gas state - not cryogenic): For compressible flow of fluid from a pipe to a larger area or larger cross section like in the case of dis...

Yes, that's great.
I have prepared 20+ theory pages for fluid flow basics and after I finish new version of calculators, I will upload it, so it should be better.
