I was looking to get a numerical relationship between gases of different densities (In particular air, and 21% oxy/79% helium) and their volumetric flow through and orifice. Given that the they are flowing through the same orifice, same differential pressure, same temperature, etc.
Thanks, love the program.
Relationship between gas density and volumetric flow
Re: Relationship between gas density and volumetric flow
You can using orifice calculator at:
http://www.pipeflowcalculations.com/orifice/index.htm
make quick calculations and find out how density is influencing flow rate.
to calculate fluid mixture density you can use equation at:
http://www.pipeflowcalculations.com/pip ... ixture.htm
Hope this gives some guidance...
