Gravity Water Flow Calculations

Post by whale00753@yahoo.com »

Dear Administrator,
I am trying to find the flow in an 8" OD polyethylene pipe (7" ID) that is 1500 feet long, with a 120 foot head. Can you tell me how do calculate this, please?

This is going to be used for a micro hydro installation so I am trying to size the generator and turbine.

Thanks,
Wade
