Design question
I need to pump water from a tank to a height of approximately 2.5 ft. The water will be in a .25 inch tube and will come out of a nozzle that has an orifice diameter of .01 inches. The nozzle requires 160 psi to flow .75 gph. My question is how big of a pump do I need to accomplish this?

What is the length of tube? If the tube is not the long one, and height difference is just 2.5 ft, than 160 psi would be enough for .75 gph, as nozzle is declared, because losses due to friction are very small.

Follow up question, have a nozzle with inlet diameter .25" and inlet pressure of 100, outlet diameter of .01" outlet pressure unknown, trying to calculate flowrate. Doesnt seem possible? Cant get my SolidWorks model to work right unfortunately.

oh im dumb, just use atmospheric pressure for p2 huh?
