HOW TO CALCULATE PUMP HEAD FOR MULTIPLE PUMPING

please I am confused can anyone help me to calculate pump head for multiple pump operation. I have calculated the domestic water demand as 60 gpm. I want to use 3 pumps each 30 gpm. two working and one standby. In order to calculate piping losses should i consider 60 gpm flow or 30 gpm.

let me tell you that is my first time using Forum and I began trying to help you...
All the losses most be calculated at 60 gpm (piping loses) because is the tipical total pump system contidion. Remember two are working and one is standby (each one has the capacity of 30 gpm), but you most to be carefull about final operation point pump.
The HPDT (estatic head+ losses+ dinamic energy+ minimal pressure requiered) most be compared whit the curve pump unit.
the piping losses curve Vs. pump curve most to indicate a point where capacity (each pump) has 30 gpm.
