how to design the DP of flow transmitter

Post by ajay »

dear all,

please tell me how to design the DP of DPT(flow transmitter)

for example :if I have to measure the level of water tank which is open to atmosphere, how can we determine the DP of Fow Transmitter

I think from following parameters we can calculate the DP

Density of water,

depth of water tank,

total head acting on bottom side of water tank,

if we can ,then please tell me the Details formula for calculating the same

please do the needful

I am not sure if I understand you correctly, but the hydrostatic pressure of water or any other fluid is p=rho*g*h [Pa]
