Hi,
I have 4 area drops that are feeding a mill that I am installing. I need to determine the size of the pipe diameter that is feeding these 4 pipes.
The pressure is 45 psi
The liquid is water that is being fed by a constant flow by a pump.
I am probably going to use PVC or Steel.
Do I have enough info to determine the proper ID/OD of this main pipe that will split off into the 4 sections.
I calculated aprox 1.4" ID. so I was going to go with 2" to be safe.

If I understand you correctly, you have total of 861 gph.
If you assume 1m/s which is OK for water flow, than you are right that 1.4 inch ID is good, but it should be checked with pressure drop also.
What is height difference between pipe inlet where you have 45 psi and pipe outlet to atmosphere?
What is the length of pipe?
